Here's a bonus: one of Scotland's most historic courses and it's pretty easy ! In amongst football pitches on this flat public park close to Perth town centre is this shortish, easily walked course with fine views of River Tay.
The course is played over by the Royal Perth Golfing Society, a club older than the R&A and the North Inch was where James VI learned his golf.
Due to the construction of a flood barrier along the river, the course was restricted to 9 holes for a number of years but now, with a fair bit of money spent on it, it is back to 18. |
